Whether you are just beginning your genealogy journey or have years of research experience, you'll find a welcoming community of members eager to learn from one another and celebrate the stories of generations past.

Our meetings feature presentations by experienced guest speakers, educational programs led by club members, discussions of genealogy tools and research techniques, and opportunities to collaborate on solving genealogy "brick walls." Just as importantly, our club offers friendship and fellowship among neighbors who enjoy exploring family history together.

Welcome to a New Year of Genealogy! Welcome back to the beginning of another exciting year with the Seabrook Island–Kiawah Genealogy Club! Our Planning Board has been busy this summer preparing an exciting year ahead, with interesting presentations, workshops for beginners, and new ways to communicate and publicize the Genealogy Club. We are delighted to announce that our first meeting of the new season will be held on September 23, 2026. We will be joined by the Lowcountry Land Trust for a special presentation about one of the Lowcountry’s most iconic treasures—the Angel Oak Tree.
